Textron has rolled out its new 2019 Prowler Pro lineup for 2019, including three brand new models.
First is the new six-passenger Prowler Pro Crew XT, while the other new models are three- and six-passenger Ranch special editions.
First, the new Prowler Pro Crew XT adds a second row on to the three-seat model to offer six people space to sit. Powering the Crew model is the same three-cylinder 50-horsepower 812CC engine as the rest of the Prowler Pro lineup, and Textron says that special attention was paid to quietness with this engine, enhanced by vibration-reducing engine mounts and a rubber isolator for the muffler.
Suspension travel measures at 10-inches in the front and 9.5-inches in the rear, ground clearance sits at 10-inches, and 26-inch tires are fitted. For carrying capacity, Textron says the model has a 1,500-pound payload capacity and 1,000-pounds of cargo capacity.
The wheelbase of the new six-person model stretches to 118.5-inches compared to 85-inches on the standard model.
Storage space is found in the 14.72 cubic foot bed, 330 cubic inch glovebox and 1.70 cubic foot space behind the seats. A 75-amp alternator is standard and pre-wiring for accessories is already done. Electronic power steering come standard on the Crew XT model.
The floor step-in height totals 12.5-inches, which Textron says contributes to easy ingress and egress, while the telescopic steering column helps to adjust for any rider height.
A maximum speed control comes standard which is password protected and can be locked from between 25 and 50 mph in 1 mph increments.
For those with a want for some extra style and some serious equipment upgrades, the new Prowler Pro Ranch Edition and Crew Ranch Edition are a new option. They features Atomic Copper paint, premium seats, a hard top, halogen lights with LED accents, HD front and rear bumpers, 27-inch Maxxis 2.0 tires and a 4,500-lb WARN winch.
A new base model which doesn’t feature power steering has also been added, and is only available in Marsh Green.
