Now we have official confirmation of all the rumors, Honda will produce a sport side-by-side and it will be unveiled on November 27.
A leaked image and early trademark applications for the nameplate Honda Talon ere all indicators for that have been pointing towards this, but now the brand has made the news official. All will be revealed on November 27, including whether or not the name Talon will stick with the production unit.
Honda will be playing catch-up in the Sport side-by-side market to Can-Am, Polaris, Yamaha and Textron, though the brand certainly already has loyal fans that would be interested based on the nameplate alone.
The real questions that loom now are surrounding just how much performance will be baked into the Talon. Things like whether or not it will be turbocharged and have 20-plus inches of suspension travel to compete with the big guns from Can-Am and Polaris.
The other big draw to Honda models has always been the brand’s dual-clutch transmission, something that would almost certainly be featured on the Talon.
Other details might trickle out before the official launch of the Honda Talon, but for now, mark your calendar for November 27 and then come back to TFLOffroad for all the details.
