2019 Yamaha YXZ1000R Configurator Launches, Most Expensive Version is Over $40K

Online configurators are a great way to put together exactly the vehicle you want and to learn about all its features and options.

Yamaha has updated its Build Your Own function with all the info on the 2019 Yamaha YXZ1000R and YXZ1000R Sport Shift (SS) model. This means that you can now add all sorts of parts and accessories to the YXZ online, revealing how the unit will look and what it will cost. At the end of the process, you can send your build to your local dealer, who can order all the necessary parts and install them.

Over 55 different accessories are available for the YXZ, with some of the highlights including the GYTR Turbo Kit, adding 60 percent more power and the GYTR TAG Kit, adding a 32 percent reduction to first gear for low-speed crawling along with a 22 percent reduction on second through fifth gear.

“The new 2019 YXZ1000R has been optimized to offer coast-to-coast pure sport performance in nearly any environment – from open desert to tight wooded trails,” said Steve Nessl, Yamaha’s motorsports group marketing manager. “With the new BYO feature on the Yamaha website, off-road enthusiasts can customize and accessorize their pure sport YXZ to match their specific needs, and experience nearly any adventure.”
