The Dakar Rally is chugging along and day 6 is in the books.
Sebastian Loeb captured the win in the car category on stage 6, narrowly edging out Nasser Al-Attiyah, though the Toyota racer is currently leading the car category with over a 30 minute gap.
In the bikes, Pablo Quintanilla took the stage 6 win and vaulted himself into the lead, though he is in front of Benavides by just under two minutes.
The quad category continues to be dominated by Cavigliasso, who won stage 6 by 17 minutes, opening up his lead to one hour and six minutes over the competition.
Francisco Lopez won took the stage win by just over 12 minutes, though Gerard Farres leads the race overall.
Finally in the big trucks, the Iveco of De Rooy took the stage win, clawing back some time against the two Kamaz Master trucks leading the race. Eduard Nioklaev holds onto his lead by 10 minutes, with teammate Sotnikov following in second.
