Winter riding doesn’t have to mean snowmobiles, and one brand is out to prove it.
The 2019 Yamaha Grizzly has received some upgrades to make the powertrain more robust in the midrange, but our LE model from Yamaha Canada comes with heated grips, a heated throttle, a heated seat and a windshield, to make sure it’s snow ready.
The other major change to the 2019 Grizzly is the new wheel and tire package, which consists of 27-inch Maxxis Zilla rubber wrapped around lightweight alloy wheels.

The Grizzly offers 7.6 inches of front wheel travel and 9.1 inches of rear travel, along with five adjustable pre-load settings on the shocks.
Tow capacity comes in at 1322 pounds and the machine packs a two-inch hitch receiver. Ground clearance measures 11.8 inches, width measures in at 48 inches and the wheelbase is 49.2-inches.
Our test model is fit with a Warn 52-inch Provantage Snow Plow from the Yamaha accessory catalogue, which makes the Grizzly ready to tackle the snow.
Pricing for the Grizzly 700 EPS LE begins at $13,599 in Canada and the Grizzly SE sells for $10,999 in the US.
