BMW’s off-road motorcycles certainly have a big reputation, and we took the chance to learn all about what is new with the biggest bike in the Adventure lineup.
The 1250 is a new powerplant, providing 136 horsepower along with better fuel economy and easier controllability according to the brand. A new TFT screen is fit right in front of the driver delivering all of your vital information, while new drive modes will help in inclement weather and when you head off road.

The Adventure adds some vital features over just the standard GS, including a larger fuel tank (7.9 gallons), different wheels, a larger windshield, and protection bars for the engine.
Smart driver assist technologies were a focus of the new GS Adventure, with things like intelligent throttle assist that will back off the throttle automatically when the brakes are applied.
