While a majority of overland vehicles are truck based, crossovers, like the Honda Passport Overland, are becoming more popular. Having an overlanding setup, especially one that’s not overambitious, is a great idea. This Honda Passport Overland concept is a good idea.
Outfitted by Jsport Performance Accessories, this Honda Passport was given a 1.5-inch lift up front and a 0.75-inch lift in the rear. Grippy-looking 265/60 Nitto Ridge Grappler tires on KMC XD 18-inch wheels complete the look.
Other additions include:
- Jsport custom skid plate
- Custom side steps
- Plateau modular roof rack
- External storage (fuel) tank
- Custom front bumper
- Roofnest Sandpiper rooftop tent
- Honda EU2200i generator
- An external swinging spare tire holder mounted on extended bumper mount.
While we have no information on pricing, production or even weight, we’re fairly sure that this package could be built by fans with relative ease.
It’s a slick little package that looks almost brochure-ready. We like it because crossovers are so damn popular. This is a great way to get off the beaten path while maintaining the goodness of a car-based crossover.
