Pitting off-road pickups against each other is what we do here at TFL, and the latest battle came between the Toyota Tundra TRD Pro and the Nissan Titan Pro-4X.
In both cases, these are the most off-road worthy half-tons you can buy from both brands, with the TRD Pro taking things a little bit further than the Nissan with a set of FOX shocks and a one-inch lift. But what this test really comes down to are the tires.
The Titan Pro-4X arrives with a set of General Grabber all-terrain tires, while the Tundra wears Goodyear Wranglers with kevlar protection. Both performed fairly well in slick Texas mud, but there definitely was a clear winner.
Skid plates are present on both trucks to provide coverage underneath and rear lockers help with traction as well.
Be sure to watch the video above to find out which truck performs better.
