2019 Sea-Doo Spark Trixx Review – The Water Wheelie King! (Video)

The Sea-Doo Spark Trixx is not the quickest machine in the brand’s lineup, nor is it the most stable, but it just might be the most fun.

Starting at just $7,499 USD ($8,999 CAD), the Trixx is a value model, but it provides as much or more fun than models twice its price. That is thanks mainly to a variable trim jet that can be positioned so that the nose lifts right out of the water, enabling epic water wheelies that are easy for even a novice rider to enjoy.

A pair of angled footrests at the rear of the footwells helps you to stand on solid footing when you pull the nose up out of the water, and also help the rider to control the machine, as body weight plays a big role with the Spark. This unit has a dry weight of just 422 pounds for the two-up version, so even subtle changes in your positioning make a big difference in how it cuts through the water.

The Trixx model comes with the high-output version of the 900cc Rotax ACE engine, offering up 90 horsepower for your riding pleasure. Though the Trixx is certainly no speed demon, topping out between 45 and 50 mph, it’s more than enough power to pop this little machine right out of the water over waves.

A set of adjustable handlebars also helps the Trixx stay ergonomic, even when you’re standing up and riding aggressively.
