Yamaha has announced its 2020 marine lineup, with some new sport boat models packed with fresh features.
The new 2020 195S is one such brand new model, based on the recently updated 19-foot hull and deck that was introduced in 2019. The key with this new S model are a number of luxury features like Marine Mat flooring, a co-captain’s chair, docking lights, 7-inch Connext system with maps, a Wet Sounds speaker package and a custom CNC name plate on the tower structure.
There’s also the new 195 FSH Sport, offering the supercharged 1.8-litre SVHO marine engine in a smaller package while also offering features like Marine Mat flooring kit, upgraded switch panels, steering wheel knob, rod and cup holder combo on the bow, and a brand-new electric raw water washdown pump with a higher PSI than the previous Jet Wash system.
What could be the most exciting boat though is the all-new 275 series, as Yamaha takes it first jump into the 27-foot category. Two different choices are available in 2020, the 275SE and the flagship 275SD model.
On the SE, a semi-rigid top is used while the SD packs a hardtop complete with skylight. The top-trim model also exclusively gets the new DRiVE system, a series of paddles on the steering wheel that help with tight space manoeuvring.
Yamaha is opening up more of its boats to wake surfers as well with the Yamaha Wake Enhancer, which is now available on all 19-foot boats including the FSH models. With this addition, every model in the Yamaha lineup can now be fit with the wake enhancer to provide a large easy to ride wave.
New speaker systems are also available for both Yamaha Waverunner lineups, the EX and VX series.
