We use a lot of different cameras here at TFL, and the latest gadget we picked up to help us shoot our videos is the DJI Osmo Pocket.
The Pocket is a tiny camera, fitting comfortably in the palm of your hand. It uses a three-axis gimbal and it can shoot 4K video at up to 60 frames per second and 1080p at 120 frames per second for some beautiful slow motion footage.
There is a tiny display screen on the back of the Osmo which helps you to frame up your shots without having to guess. You can also hook up a phone to it with the lightning connector or a USB-C connector if you want a larger display.
The Osmo Pocket’s biggest advantage is simply its size, as the name tells the truth: it fits comfortably in your pocket. That means you can have a quality camera on you at all times, with no bags required.
