Can-Am has revealed two more variants in the 2020 Defender HD10 lineup, the PRo and the Limited models.
Before talking specifics, it’s important to know that all Defender models benefit from a quieter Rotax 1000cc V-Twin engine this year, making 82 horsepower and 69 lb-ft of torque. Other noise reduction measures include a thicker firewall and quieter exhaust. Rigidity of the frame is up by 30 percent for 2020 while weight has actually been reduced by five percent.
New suspension is also included on all 2020 Defender models featuring arched A-arms.
Defender PRO HD10
If you want a work focused model, the Defender Pro DPS and Pro XT are for you. Build on the longer MAX chassis with a 115.5-inch wheelbase, these models have a 6′ by 4.5′ cargo box that can also be converted into a flatbed when need be. Payload capacity is cranked up to 1700 pounds to make sure the machine can handle the weight.
Going for a Limited model brings a host of luxury features to the table. Each one of these models comes equipped with full heating and air conditioning from the factory, including an ‘Auto’ setting for temperature, a first of its kind in a side-by-side. The full cab is also including and comes with a glass tilt-up windshield, wipers and doors with electronic windows inside.
Limited models can be either three or six seats and both are rated to tow up to 2500 pounds. Plenty of other factory upgrades are included as well, including a 4,500-pound winch, 14-inch cast aluminum wheels, a 7.6-inch digital display and more.
