GMC was supposed to have fully revealed the all-electric GMC Hummer pickup truck by now, but that debut has been pushed back.
In lieu of dropping the entire truck on us, the brand is continuing the slow tease, this time revealing the Hummer’s removable roof panels. In a short video clip, you can see the stars through the open roof, revealing that there will be two panels in the front and one in the rear that all can be removed.
Besides this new piece of information, everything else we know about the GMC Hummer pickup has already been either released or leaked online.
The truck is said to have three different powertrain options, with the largest tri-motor setup offering 1000 horsepower and a sprint from 0 to 60 mph in just three seconds. The Hummer will be built at GM’s Detroit-Hamtramck facility, and though it will initially show up as a pickup truck, and SUV variant is slated to follow some time later.
Storage for the roof panels is also rumored to be incorporated into the Hummer pickup, fitting under the vehicle’s hood in a secure location.
