If you’re looking to go off-road with your family and 30 of your closest friends, there’s a bus builder in the Czech Republic that wants to sell you something.
The Torsus Praetorian is built on a MAN truck chassis and packs an inline six-cylinder diesel that makes 240 hp and about 680 lb-ft of torque. The wheelbase on this beast is 165-inches and it can seat up to 35 people in its bus configuration, although there are many different options for interior layout, including a full motorhome spec.
The off-road capability of this mammoth is impressive, with 15-inches of ground clearance, an approach angle of 32 degrees and a gross vehicle weight rating of 13,500 kg (29762 pounds).
Tons of off-road accessories and gear can be added to your Torsus, such as a heavy-duty winch, airless tires and a front brush bar, though the real tricks come with the different configurations. You can get a fire truck, bus, motorsports support vehicle, overlander rv, or an ambulance, each coming outfitted with all the gear necessary to fulfill its given role.
